Central Air Conditioner (CAC) & Heat Pump Tune-UpA tune-up will boost the cooling performance and efficiency of your system after a thorough assessment, cleaning, and implementation of any recommended adjustments. As a result, your system will use less electricity helping you save on energy costs. Energy costs can also be reduced with lower consumption. Requirements:
What does a tune-up include?The tune-up includes an assessment of your CAC or Heat Pump system, as well as taking readings related to performance and efficiency. Requires cleaning of the condenser, blower, evaporator coil, and cleaning or replacement of filter (customer supplied). An approved contractor will make suggestions to improve efficiency, such as airflow and refrigerant adjustments. Customers will receive an assessment report upon completion of the service. |

CAC Tune-Up with Refrigerant AdjustmentMaintaining the correct refrigerant level in your AC system is essential for optimal cooling performance, energy efficiency, and longevity. CoolSaver data from 2024 demonstrated that Refrigerant Adjustments contributed to the greatest increases in efficiency and kW savings. Requirements:
What does a tune-up with Refrigerant Adjustment include?This consists of the same steps as in the tune-up, but if a refrigerant adjustment is recommended by the approved CoolSaver technician, and the associated charge is accepted by the customer, a $35 discount will be applied for this service. |
